Mini Model Series: Jamie

MINI MODEL SERIES:

Jaime.

Next up in our Mini Model series we're excited to introduce you to another of our mini-muses. Jaime is new to the Tutu du Monde family but is already making waves! Jaime has joined us on two magical campaigns so far.

What has been the most exciting opportunity you've been given through modelling?

It is hard to beat the experiences I have had shooting with Tutu Du Monde. It was epic to ride my skateboard on the rarely empty Bondi Beach skate bowl! I especially liked the Tutu Du Monde Camden Park Collection Shoot too, shot in one of the most beautiful historic houses in Australia. I’m still completely fascinated by the framed $1 note on the wall there. I’ve been fortunate to work with some really awesome people!

if you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?

Being a water lover, I’m definitely most like a Dolphin. Dolphins are best known for their gregarious, playful nature, their gentleness and acute curiosity. I love the variety of clever sounds Dolphins can make to communicate, including whistles, clicks, squawks, squeaks, barks, and yelps. I’m an early riser, and my family tell me I make similar sounds to try and wake up the household! Oh, and we both like to eat raw fish, yum!

what do you want to be when you grow up?

A Marine Biologist and a Model!

Where could you spend hours without getting bored?

I can completely lose myself in arts and crafts. I love to paint and draw. I also love to dig holes and build sandcastles at the beach with my sister and little brother.

if you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Aloita Resort in the Mentawai Islands. It’s an isolated Island Paradise in Indonesia, with nothing to do but explore the jungle and surf.

if you could have any superpower, what would it be?

I’d love the ability to breathe under water, so that I can easily swim with Turtles and Dolphins.

“ I can completely lose myslef in arts & crafts. I love to paint & draw!”

what is your favourite song?

This is a hard one, I have lots of favourite songs. At the moment I love Heat Waves by Glass Animals.

Where do you want to travel in the future?

Take me back to the Maldives! My last visit I was too young to surf, so I’d love to explore the beautiful marine life and catch some waves.

What was the last book you read?

The 78-Storey Treehouse, by Andy Griffiths

how would you describe yourself in three words?

Curious, Energetic & warm-hearted

what would you do if you had a time machine?

I’d love to go back to the 1980’s when my mum was a little girl, so that I could see what it was like for her. I am intrigued by the differences between then and now, and often ask her about how things were. I can’t believe phones were attached to the wall, and they didn’t have TV remotes! When she was feeling lazy, Mum used a broom handle to change channels from the lounge!
